Puppy class and San Francisco

We had puppy class at GDA today! Westin got to see his brother, Winter and two of his sisters, Wiki and Wailea. It was a blast! There were a ton of puppies that were 8-12 weeks, they were so cute!  There was even a black and tan lab pup, a litter of GLX pups, and a chocolate australian labradoodle! (Is that a mouthful?) Like always, there were plenty of yellow and black labs as well.  Westin was fitted with a training collar today (my arms are greatful).

Today is Westin's five month day! Woohoo!
Westin, my family and I are going up to the bay area tomorrow!

Is anyone a puppy raiser in the Monterey or San Francisco area? If so, let me know!

I know y'all hate these posts that don't have new pictures so I promise to bring my camera up :)

  4. Happy 5 months! I was up in Berkeley today and saw a yellow lab puppy in training from Guide Dogs of America. The dog was very well behaved and very cute too!

  6. Yes I went on the tour. (Berkeley is gorgeous.) I wish we could have talked too. I was going to go talk to you then we had to head out on the tour and I didn't get a chance after that. Westin is adorable! He was also very well behaved especially for a 5 month old puppy!

  7. Berkeley was pretty cool (and I did have a cute tour hide hehe) but I was unhappy to be there ffor some reason that I don't remember :P. So if I looked mean I promise I'm nice :) Did you look at Stanford? It was absolutely gorgeous! And Westin is an amazing pup, I have to agree :) we got compliments at UCSB today

  8. (Ha ha about your tour guide! I had a pretty funny tour guide.) I haven't been to Stanford yet, but I bet the campus is gorgeous. I liked Berkeley, but one of my favorite schools I visited was Rhodes College in Memphis, TN. It is a smaller school, but I love the campus setting and what they have to offer.

I bet you were proud with all the compliments about Westin's behavior. I love when people comment about how well behaved Llarson is in public.

  9. Are you still in CA? I came home today...okay, I live here, but not in the bay area ;) I'm getting stoked about college (and stressed about apps ;]) but I'm only going to be a junior so I have another year to go first.

I love it when people love the pups :)

  10. Actually I just got back home today so I am sadly no longer in California. I am going to be a senior so I am starting the entire application process, which is quite time consuming. At least you have another year to go. My tip is visit all types of colleges: big, small, private, public, etc. to see which fits you the best and then start those applications early!

  11. Awesome :) thanks for the advice. Where are you applying?

  12. I am definetly applying to Rhodes College. And then Texas A&M, maybe Austin College and UC Davis and Colorado State. We'll see about Colorado State after I visit it this coming week.
